Police report

Plano Police have arrested a 38-year-old woman after her 55-year-old husband was killed in the 2300 block of Monticello Circle, in 75075 Zipcode between 15th Street and Park Blvd., near Greenway Drive west of Custer Road. The 9-1-1 call came in about 10:30 p.m., with the man saying “I’ve been shot.”

Plano Police arrived and discovered the man who had called 9-1-1 Friday in his garage suffering from a gun shot. A little later, Plano Fire and Rescue reported David Nunley had died after being hit above the waist.

Plano Police have arrested his wife. Police said Merridith Nunley was located around Park Blvd. and Alma Drive. Police said there was a domestic dispute in the home. The family’s children were not home at time of shooting.

The woman was charged and jailed in Collin County TX, with bail set at $500,000.
