Up for adventure? Plano Balloon Festival place to be


The reviews are glowing for the 2014 Plano Balloon Festival.

Take the kids for fun events: Look up for a parachute team exhibition at 5:30 p.m.

The balloon launch will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a concert at 7 p.m.

Glowing: The popular balloon glow starts at 8 p.m., concert at 8:30 p.m., and fireworks at 9 p.m. Tickets are $5 and kids 36 inches and under are free.

Parking is available at Collin College, Oak Point Rec Center, First United Methodist Church, and Community Unitarian Universalist Church for $10. Parking at Plano Centre is $5. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/1u2FhbS.
