A man from Minnesota, Vance Boelter, has been arrested following a series of violent shootings that targeted two prominent state politicians and their families. The chilling attacks took place on Saturday, leaving the victims dead and wounded, and raising questions about the alleged politically motivated nature of the crime.

Vance Boelter, 57, is accused of carrying out shootings at the homes of Minnesota State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, as well as Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband.
