A violent altercation outside a Baltimore strip club has led to the arrest of 21-year-old De’Siya A. Parker. On Monday, she was charged with multiple felonies, including attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment, after allegedly pepper-spraying and stabbing another woman outside Club Pussycat.
This incident, which occurred on May 25, has captured significant attention due to the brutal nature of the crime and the investigation that followed.
The Incident
The attack unfolded around 12:45 a.m. on May 25, outside Club Pussycat on East Baltimore Street. Police were in the area conducting a routine business check when they noticed two women involved in a physical altercation. Officers, with the help of bystanders, quickly broke up the fight and separated the women. Both women were searched, and no weapons were found at that time.
As the situation seemed to calm down, Parker allegedly made a threatening statement, saying, “Someone going to die tonight,” though police noted she was unarmed at that point. Parker was seen walking away from the scene, and for a brief time, it appeared the situation was resolved. However, the altercation escalated further later that evening.
The Stabbing
According to police, Parker returned to the scene later that night while the 35-year-old victim was outside speaking with a man who worked at the club. The man reported that Parker walked by and stared at the victim before pulling out a can of pepper spray and spraying it in her face. This caused the victim to fall to the ground after a brief struggle, and Parker allegedly fled the scene on foot.
Surveillance footage from a nearby business, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, captured the moment when Parker pepper-sprayed the victim and then stabbed her several times in the lower back, wrist, and shoulder. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Investigation and Arrest
After the attack, Parker was traced through a series of investigative steps. An employee at a nearby restaurant reported that Parker had tried to purchase a pocketknife earlier that night but was turned away due to her erratic behavior.
Authorities later confirmed that Parker was able to obtain the weapon from a nearby grocery store. This knife was found at the scene of the attack, along with a braided wig that Parker had been wearing.
On June 9, nearly two weeks after the incident, Parker was arrested and charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, assault, and reckless endangerment. She remains in custody as of Thursday afternoon at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
The case has brought to light a disturbing act of violence outside an adult entertainment club, with Parker allegedly escalating a physical altercation into a serious stabbing. The victim is fortunate to have survived the attack, but the brutal nature of the crime raises serious concerns about public safety.
As the case progresses, more details may emerge about the motivations behind Parker’s actions and the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.
