Unbeaten Allen facing Lake Travis next in 6A Division I state football final

The 15-0 Allen Eagles will take on Lake Travis from the Austin area on Saturday at AT&T Stadium.

Allen just beat Round Rock Cedar Ridge, 28-7, in the State 6A semifinals on Saturday in Waco at Baylor’s McLane Stadium on the Brazos River.

The kickoff against Lake Travis will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 in the Class 6A Division I Championship football game.

The Eagles (13-2) are hoping for their fifth state football championship.

Anna’s Gage Scribner (10-18-1) threw for 148 yards and 3 TDs vs. Bonham. All three scoring plays came in the second quarter.
Celina’s Nathan Elliott (25-32-0) lit up Bridgeport with five touchdown passes and threw for 388 yards.
Farmersville’s Chase Hacker (16-24-0, 288 yards) passed for 2 TDs vs. Whitesboro. Hacker also had 42 yards rushing and capped the scoring with a 10-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter.
Frisco Centennial’s Court Walker (12-25-0) passed for six touchdowns and 318 yards in a 42-41 loss to Wakeland in overtime.
Frisco Independence’s Kyle Saddler (17-33-3) passed for 208 yards vs. Frisco.
Frisco Heritage’s Malik Walker (19-38-1) threw for 223 yards and a 15-yard TD to Bubba Ogbebor (8-109 yards receiving vs. Lone Star.
