Brian Crutcher, who serves as Chief Operating Officer at Texas Instruments, will move up on June 1st when Rich Templeton steps aside as TI president and chief executive.
Templeton has been leading TI since 2004 and will still be the chairman at Texas Instruments. Crutcher said that Templeton has made TI stronger than ever and provides a solid foundation for him.
Templeton said Crutcher has proven to be an exceptional inspiring leader who delivers great results. Templeton cited Crutcher’s skills and focus in building business, manufacturing and sales.
TI has been grooming Crutcher for his new spots. He was elevated to senior vice president in 2010 and promoted to executive vice president four years later. In 2017, he became the chief operating officer.
