Bush not attending Republican convention

While the Democrats may still be blaming Bush for what is not working in the country, the Republicans will be nominating their next presidential candidate without the Bush legacy on stage at the August Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
Former President George W. Bush and his father President George H.W. Bush each said they will not attend the convention.
That leaves the stage for Mitt Romney, who has locked up enough delegates before the convention.

Perry said even though Texans all don’t ride horses to work or all have oil wells in their backyard that companies still want to move into the state. The quarterly luncheon was sponsored by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.

Plano Mayor Phil Dyer, the bank president of Legacy Texas Bank, stated, “We are delighted to help bring the Shelby American Tour to North Texas and to host this extraordinary celebration of auto innovation. This is a unique opportunity for serious collectors, as well as those who simply appreciate the Shelby tradition of quality, to get a close up view of some extremely rare Shelby models.
