The McKinney Performing Arts Center at the Historic Collin County Courthouse is a unique venue for any event. Its majestic history and original materials including maple floors, marble wainscoting and decorative trim create a warm and inviting environment. MPAC GROUND LEVEL: The ground-level, handicap-accessible entry is located on the east side of the building and serves as the main public entrance. The spacious vestibule area provides direct access to the public restrooms, ATM and elevator. Original limestone walls line the MPAC Gallery adjoined by the Artist Studio. The Market Street Catering area allows easy access to the first floor reception hall inside the McKinney Performing Arts Center in historic downtown McKinney.
THE FIRST FLOOR OF MPAC offers entrances from four sides. This floor features several rooms ranging from 740 to 1,500 square feet. Ruschhaupt Hall at MPAC seats approximately 120 guests banquet style. The Encore Conference Room offers seating for up to 20 guests. Noble Hall at MPAC accommodates 50 banquet-style and 75 guests in a theater layout.
SECOND FLOOR: The 427-seat MPAC Courtroom Theater is equipped with a one-of-a-kind vintage Mighty Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, Variable Room Acoustic System (VRAS), green room, dressing rooms and two multipurpose rehearsal rooms. The stage in the Courtroom Theater in MPAC may be removed to reveal the original judge’s bench and jury box. The seats on the main floor are the original wooden courtroom seats.
THE THIRD FLOOR AT MPAC offers balcony seating for the Courtroom Theater. In addition, the third floor houses executive suites for non-profit organizations to lease.
