The first Steak 101 classes of the year have officially been posted. Your crash course in everything beef begins at 10 a.m., April 6, at Local Yocal Farm to Market, located at 213 N. Tennessee Street in Historic Downtown McKinney.
From novice beefeaters to grill kings, Steak 101 courses provide a wealth of knowledge including, “clean” meat raising and finishing practices, choosing the perfect steak to feed your crew and fresh samples of roughly 18 different steaks, burgers, and sausages.
New this year: Pit Master Pass!
For an additional charge, two people per Steak 101 class will learn from the Pit Master all the secrets to grilling perfect steaks! You will work side by side and learn tips from seasoning to grilling to slicing.
