A 3-year-old boy and a 37-year-old woman were among the three victims killed in a shooting at a residence in Oak Cliff, Dallas, early Saturday morning, according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. The shooting suspect, 53-year-old Lalit Pradhan, also died from a gunshot wound.

Police and Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, at a home located in the 1900 block of Dudley Avenue in Oak Cliff.
Upon arrival, officers found two victims, Pranish Pradhan (the 3-year-old) and Ranjana Shrestha (the 37-year-old woman), both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
Lalit Pradhan, the shooting suspect, was found with an apparent gunshot wound and multiple lacerations. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identities of the victims. Pranish Pradhan was identified as the child, and Ranjana Shrestha as the woman who died in the incident. The location of death was listed as 1918 Dudley Avenue.
