A 21-year-old woman from Tennessee, Diamond Tankard, has been arrested and released on bond after being charged with aggravated assault and theft following an incident at a Walmart in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville.

What Happened at Walmart?

The incident occurred at a Walmart Supercenter on Friday when Tankard allegedly attacked another woman who was standing in the checkout line.

Surveillance footage from the store revealed the attack, where Tankard allegedly used a “sock filled with rocks” as a weapon, according to the victim’s grandmother, who was present during the altercation.

The victim, who was standing at the self-checkout area, claimed that Tankard approached her from behind, grabbed her hair, and began assaulting her.

After the assault, Tankard allegedly stole the victim’s iPhone, valued at $1,500, and a Louis Vuitton handbag, worth $900. The victim was left with a visible cut on her forehead and was later taken to the hospital for treatment.

How Was Tankard Identified?

Tankard was identified through the store’s surveillance footage, which showed her picking up items from the ground that were believed to be stolen. Police were able to trace her movements inside the store and quickly located her after she fled the scene.

The Arrest and Bond

The Metro Nashville Police Department arrested Tankard on Saturday, charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft. She posted a $25,000 bond the same day and was released from custody. Tankard is expected to appear in court on August 22.

Tankard previously appeared on the Bravo reality series “Thicker Than Water” during her childhood.

Diamond Tankard’s arrest has drawn attention due to the seriousness of the charges and her previous fame on a reality TV show. As her court date approaches, more details are expected to surface about the incident.
