Two people were arrested Wednesday in connection with a theft that occurred at a fireworks shop in Alvin on Tuesday night. The theft took place at Flash-Bang Fireworks, which is located near Highway 35 in Alvin. Authorities believe five additional suspects were involved in the crime.
Investigation and Arrests
According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement officers worked together with Pearland police to locate the suspects. The authorities set up a perimeter around the area and used drones to assist in locating two of the suspects.
While the stolen items’ total value is still unknown, the Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the case.

A spokesperson from the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the theft was a serious matter. “This brazen act of theft is not something we take lightly here in Brazoria County,” the spokesperson said. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to finding the remaining suspects and bringing them to justice.

While two individuals have been taken into custody, their identities have not been released, and they have not yet been formally charged. Authorities continue to search for the other suspects involved in the theft.
