A tragic shooting occurred in Downtown Galveston early Wednesday morning, leaving one man dead and two others injured. The incident took place around 2:50 a.m. on Postoffice Avenue, located between 25th Street and 24th Street.
The Incident: What We Know So Far
Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of gunshots. They discovered a 31-year-old man inside a vehicle. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 29-year-old man was also found a few blocks away, near Avenue G and 25th Street, with multiple gunshot wounds.
A third man, aged 25, was later located in the 2400 block of Avenue H. He had injuries, but authorities confirmed that he was not shot.
