The City Council meeting will take place at the Council Chambers, located at 200 W. Walker St., but don’t worry if you can’t make it in person. The meeting will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook page, and for those who prefer to catch up later, the proceedings will be replayed daily on Channel 16.

Public Comment Period: Your Chance to Speak
The Public Comment period at the meeting provides residents the opportunity to speak directly to the City Council. If you wish to speak during this session, make sure to sign up before the meeting starts. The sign-up sheet is located outside the Council Chambers and will be moved inside once the meeting begins.
During the meeting, you’ll be asked to state your full name and home address when stepping up to the microphone. This is part of the formal process during the “Citizens Request For Hearing Before City Council” section, which ensures that all public comments are recorded properly.

League City Council meetings are held twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6 p.m. This regular schedule makes it easy for residents to stay involved and contribute to local governance.
