Quite a crowd gathers to honor public servants in Victoria.
A large audience gathered Tuesday night at Holy Family Catholic Church in Victoria to thank individuals who work to keep the town safe every day.
The Holy Family Catholic Church Knights of Columbus held a dinner to commemorate and appreciate all first responders, replete with music and fellowship, as has become a local tradition.
Organizers stated that giving back to public servants is a true honor.
“We welcome public servants to the community. “It’s for everyone—from fire and police to EMS, first responders, our mayor, judges, and even probation officers,” one organizer stated.
“We invite all of them to this dinner so we can honor them for what they do for our community,” John Bednarczyk, the chairman, said. Knights of Columbus Grand Knight, Holy Family Catholic Church, and event organizer.
This year marked the 38th Annual Public Service Appreciation Dinner. Sheriff Justin Marr served as the evening’s keynote speaker.
