Nordheim, Texas – The Nordheim Independent School District will provide breakfast and lunch to all kids in the district during the school year for the next four years.
According to school authorities, the district takes part in the National School Lunch Program, the Community Eligibility Program, and the National School Breakfast Program.
Due to the significant number of students who qualified for free meals through the application process, the district decided to extend free meals to all students in the district for the next four years.
The district will be assessed again at the end of the four-year period to determine whether it can continue to provide free lunches for another four years.
During the holiday and summer breaks, no free meals will be provided.
