A heated argument at a Memphis gas station turned violent when a teenager allegedly used her car to pin a woman against a building, leaving the victim hospitalized with serious injuries.

Teen Driver Arrested After Gas Station Attack

Police say 19-year-old Hannah Graham was behind the wheel of a gold Nissan Altima during the September 4 incident at a Sunoco station in Memphis.

According to investigators, an argument broke out between Graham, her passenger, and another woman standing outside the store. The dispute quickly escalated when Graham allegedly “hit the gas” and slammed into the victim, trapping her against the building.

Victim Seriously Injured

The impact left the woman with a broken right femur that required surgery. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors performed the operation. The Sunoco building itself was also damaged in the crash, according to local reports.

Surveillance Footage Captures the Incident

Police reviewed surveillance video from the gas station, which they say clearly showed Graham reversing, lining up her car with the victim, and then accelerating straight into her. Both the victim and a witness later identified Graham in a six-person lineup as the driver responsible.

Suspect Fled the Scene

After striking the victim, Graham allegedly sped away from the station with her passenger still in the car. Authorities tracked her down and placed her under arrest.

Charges and Court Proceedings

Graham now faces charges of aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident. She was booked into Shelby County Jail with bond set at $100,000. Court records show she has since posted bond, but she is due back in court for a bond hearing on Friday.

The Memphis gas station attack highlights how a simple argument can spiral into life-threatening violence. A young woman now faces serious criminal charges, while the victim recovers from major injuries that required surgery.

The case also serves as a reminder of how surveillance footage and witness accounts play a crucial role in holding offenders accountable.
