During his graduating campaign, Texas A&M’s kicker made history by setting a program record.
Randy Bond broke the school record for most consecutive made extra points during the Aggies’ Week 3 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, with 124 straight without a miss.
The Plano, Texas native was a Lou Groza Award Semifinalist in 2024 and was named to this year’s preseason watch list, which honors college football’s finest placekicker.
Bond has been with the Texas A&M program since 2021 and has yet to miss an extra point. He has also made 61 field goals in his collegiate career.
During his senior season, Bond was ranked 15th in the country and fifth in the SEC with 20 made field goals, as well as an 83.3 field goal percentage, which ranked fourth among kickers with at least 20 attempts in the conference.
While Texas A&M’s offense has emerged as one of the nation’s most renowned offenses in 2025, his accomplishments as a place kicker for the Maroon and White have been enormous.
Bond arrived in College Station in 2021, although he did not get much playing experience as a true freshman. However, everything immediately changed during his sophomore season, when he appeared in ten games and made 13 of 17 field goals while striking a perfect 25-for-25 on extra points.
Bond had a breakout senior season at Texas A&M after making significant development and improvements. He finished his season booting it for the Aggies, finishing in the top ten of the program’s single-season achievements with 20 made field goals, 83.3 percent made, and 106 points, while also ranking 14th with 46 total extra points.
If the Aggies sustain their offensive performance as they enter SEC play, the graduate’s stats may rise even further in the coming weeks.
