Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said that after two detainees were shot by what looked like a sniper, transgender people and antifa members might have been planning to attack an ICE facility in Dallas.
“The other Texas ICE facility that was attacked in July was by a crazy person with ties to Trans Antifa,” Greene wrote on X on Wednesday.
“Is today’s shooter affiliated with Antifa or trans or another psycho that has been brainwashed by Dangerous America Last Open Border Democrat lies and the media’s propaganda to hate and want to kill ICE?”
“Antifa is an international terrorists [sic] organization that has declared war on law enforcement,” she said. “Antifa and it’s [sic] funding network must be dismantled and prosecuted.”
It was planned that the Dallas Police Department would hold a briefing about the killing later Wednesday morning.
The antifa movement is not a real group, but President Trump has called it a “domestic terrorist organization.”
