A site design for a 200-unit apartment complex with three four-story buildings in Flower Mound’s Silveron Park development was unanimously approved by the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday evening.
The Silveron Park complex is situated at the southeast corner of International Parkway (FM 2499) and Lakeside Village Boulevard.
Multi-family units will take up around 8.94 acres.
According to the town, the planned development district provided developers the ability to build an apartment complex at this area when it was zoned in 2022, therefore P&Z authorized the site plan because the developer did not request any exceptions.
According to an agreement between the developers and the town, the retail and office buildings at Silveron Park will be completed before residents begin moving into the multi-family units.
There will be three covered, one-story parking garages, each with five parking spaces and storage. Each residential building will include internal parking spaces on the ground floor.
According to Flower Mound town rules, the multi-family phase of Silveron Park must contain 300 parking places. The complex intends to provide 331.
In addition, the property will include a plaza with a turf area, a pool, and various pool decks.
Picnic tables will be available beneath a covered pavilion, as well as a playground that connects to a multi-use trail within the property, which will include benches and garbage and pet waste receptacles.
There were no exceptions, so the Town Council will not be required to adopt the site plan.
There was no timetable for when building would begin or end.
