Broken Yolk Café announced plans to expand, with a focus on Collin County. A corporate official stated that they are looking into Allen, Frisco, and Plano as potential locations.
According to a news release, this development followed the brand’s most recent multi-unit arrangement with business partners JP Wu and John Zhang, which includes the acquisition of the franchise’s existing McKinney restaurant.
“We were drawn to Broken Yolk Café when we visited their McKinney location. “A closer look at the concept revealed its commitment to quality and an exceptional franchise culture,” Wu explained.
“We met John Gelastopoulos, the creator of Broken Yolk Café, who is an inspiration and a wealth of knowledge and experience in running a successful restaurant business. What jumped out above all else was Broken Yolk’s franchising model, which is fully focused on assisting franchisees in their success.
Broken Yolk Café now boasts 41 locations, including just two in Texas: McKinney and Spring.
“The coming locations will continue to target suburban cities in North DFW, given the tremendous population growth and business expansion the area has seen in recent years,” Zhang told me.
“With more and more families calling those neighborhoods home, JP and I are eager to make Broken Yolk Café their go-to spot for the best breakfast and brunch around.”
