A pair of Richardson road projects are expected to have an impact on traffic in the coming months.
What You Need to Know
According to a city news release, fiber optic work will result in lane restrictions on Mimosa Drive, Coit Road, and Campbell Road for “the next few months.”
The project will cause the following lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
All lanes of northbound Mimosa Drive, immediately north of Mimosa Place
All lanes of southbound Mimosa Drive, immediately south of Mimosa Place
The right lane of northbound Coit Road between Chesterton Drive and Lauder Lane.
The right lane of eastbound Campbell Road between Coit Road and Lake Park Way.
In addition, another project on Buckingham Road will block the westbound right lane near the intersection with Audelia Road at all times. The second phase of the project will shut Buckingham Road’s eastbound left lane to traffic near its intersection with Audelia Road at all times.
What’s next?
The fiber optic work is planned to be completed by late January, while the work on Buckingham and Audelia roads is scheduled for early November.
