On September 20, 2025, The Factory in Dallas’ Deep Ellum hosted the Nancy Lieberman Charities’ 14th Annual Dream Ball, which provided countless reasons to celebrate. In addition to presenting ESPN’s Stephen A.

Smith with the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award and country singer Coffey Anderson with the 2025 Inspirational Award, attendees recognized Lieberman’s ten scholarship recipients, all of whom were former high school athletes who received custom jackets designed by Carlton Dixon of Reveal Suites, custom rings, and $10,000 to help with college expenses.

The evening also included a fireside chat with Stephen A. Smith and Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys’ owner, president, and general manager, who announced Smith as the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Coffey Anderson, recipient of the Inspirational Award, played his classic song “Mr. Red White and Blue.”

ESPN’s Jay Harris presented his typical approach with fun.

acted as the event’s emcee. A variety of things were offered for auction, with both silent and live bidding, which delighted visitors as they generously donated to Nancy Lieberman Charities.

Dream Ball is always a popular event, from the red carpet entrance with photos taken by Rockwall ISD media students acting as paparazzi to the excellent service provided by valet and wait staff.

Congratulations to all of the recipients recognized under this year’s theme, “Champions of Hope.”
