Liberty, Centennial, and Memorial took the first three slots in the 11-5A standings, and the trio has ascended to the top of the district yet again.
Following their massive win over the Titans, the Redhawks stayed focused with a 25-19, 25-15, 26-24 victory against Heritage (1-3) to go to 4-0 in district play.
Jaiden Harris led Liberty’s offense with 15 kills, 13 digs, and a pair of aces. Aubree Pratt recorded nine kills and two blocks, while Maddie Lagrone contributed eight kills, nine digs, and two aces. Morgan Ferguson led the defense with 14 digs, while Allison Treadwell and Riley Wong contributed 19 and 18 assists, respectively.
Centennial improved to 3-1 after defeating Frisco (2-2) with scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-15.
Alexis Anderson had a strong all-around performance, with 15 kills, nine digs, and two aces, while Zoe Patel contributed eight kills and eight digs. Kirsten Mott finished with six kills, four digs, and three blocks, while Madison Victoriano had 35 assists, eight digs, four kills, and four blocks.
Memorial (3-1) remained tied for second place after defeating Independence (1-3) 25-17, 25-10, and 25-17, while Emerson evened their district record at 2-2 with a 25-12, 25-21, 25-16 sweep of Lebanon Trail (0-4).
