Police in Pasadena Arrest Suspect Following Walmart Stabbing

On September 17, 2025, around 10:30 a.m., the Pasadena Police Department responded to a stabbing at Walmart, 5200 Fairmont Parkway.

Officers arrived on the site and discovered an adult guy with a stab wound to the upper torso. Witnesses said the suspect had already fled the area. The victim was airlifted by LifeFlight in serious condition to receive emergency medical treatment. His current state is unknown.

Pasadena Police patrol units and Violent Crimes investigators promptly launched an investigation. Walmart’s surveillance system captured images of the suspect and the vehicle involved. Officers performed a coordinated search of the area and alerted surrounding schools as a precaution.

Officers quickly identified a car that matched the description and attempted a traffic stop. The car briefly fled before the driver emerged and sprinted a short distance. Pasadena police successfully apprehended the suspect at the 3000 block of Denkman Street.

The guy is currently in custody and is being taken to a hospital for evaluation. Charges may be filed pending the results of the ongoing inquiry.
