A shocking incident in Florida has caught attention after a woman allegedly attacked her boyfriend and destroyed his clothes using bleach. This domestic dispute, which took place in St. Petersburg, has now led to criminal charges.
What Happened During the Assault
According to police reports, 41-year-old Tocarra Moore was arrested for domestic battery and criminal mischief. The incident began around 9 a.m. when her boyfriend woke up to find Moore physically attacking him. She was reportedly on top of him, hitting his back.
Police confirmed a visible injury on the man’s shoulder blade, which matched his version of events. Although the boyfriend didn’t call the police himself, he decided to leave the house to avoid further conflict.
Confrontation at Walgreens
After leaving the home, the victim contacted the mother of his child to come pick him up. They met near a Walgreens. However, Moore followed them and confronted both of them in the parking lot.
While trying to separate the two women, Moore allegedly pushed the boyfriend. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video, which provided further proof for the police investigation.
Bleach Damage and Video Evidence
Moore didn’t stop there. After returning home, she took several of the victim’s clothes and poured bleach over them, claiming she believed he was cheating. Shockingly, she asked one of her children to record the act on video.
She then sent the video to the victim, who handed it over to the police. Based on this, Moore was charged with criminal mischief, as the destroyed clothes were worth between $2,500 and $3,000.
Arrest and Bond
Moore was arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail. She was later released after posting a $5,500 bond. Her next court date has not been announced yet.
This case highlights how quickly domestic disagreements can turn serious, especially when emotions get out of hand. From physical assault to property destruction, multiple laws were allegedly broken.
While Moore is currently out on bond, the legal process will now take its course. It’s a strong reminder of the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully and seeking help when needed.
