The Texas Association of Metal Finishers (TAMF) is set to hold its inaugural Technical Conference on October 20-21, 2025, at the Moody Gardens Resort on Galveston Island, Texas. The event will feature a range of activities, technical sessions, and networking opportunities.
Event Schedule and Activities
Golf Outing: The conference kicks off on October 20 with an optional golf outing. The 3 p.m. shotgun start costs $75 per person for nine holes and includes the greens fee, cart fee, and range balls. Prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.
Kickoff Social: An evening social event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 20, featuring an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
Coffee & Donuts with the TAMF President: On October 21, join TAMF President John Sullivan from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a casual morning coffee and donuts session.
Technical Conference: The conference will begin at 10 a.m. on October 21 with presentations on topics including PFAS, compliance, insurance insights, electroless nickel best practices, and waste haul-off.
Keynote Dinner: The keynote speaker for the evening dinner at 7 p.m. will be Vincent Noonan, CEF, Vice President of Strategic Operations at Sheffield Platers in San Diego, California.
Exhibitors and Registration
More than 15 tabletop exhibitors will be present, showcasing the latest products and services in the metal finishing industry. Registration for the conference is $195, which includes access to all sessions, the kickoff social, coffee/donuts, lunch, and the keynote dinner. Guest and spouse tickets are available for $95.
