In a shocking and violent incident, a 29-year-old woman from Texas was arrested in Florida after allegedly stabbing her former friend during a fight at a 7-Eleven store. What makes the case even more disturbing is that the accused later went live on social media and proudly talked about the attack, according to police.
Fight Turns Violent in Miami Parking Lot
The accused, Shakia Jenkins, a resident of Houston, reportedly agreed to meet a woman she used to be friends with in Miami’s Liberty City area to settle a dispute. The two women had argued earlier that night at a popular hookah lounge called Uncut Miami. After leaving the lounge, they met up again at a nearby 7-Eleven.
According to police, the women got out of their vehicles and began fighting. During the altercation, Jenkins allegedly pulled out a small black knife and stabbed the victim in the face, causing serious injuries. The victim shouted, “She’s stabbing me!” as the attack unfolded.
Disturbing Social Media Confessions
Instead of hiding after the attack, Jenkins allegedly went live on Instagram to talk about what happened. In the video, she referred to herself as Chucky and Michael Myers—two fictional horror characters known for killing.
When asked by a viewer why she stabbed the woman, Jenkins reportedly responded, “That ho lucky her family ain’t making a GoFundMe right now.” She showed no remorse and said she didn’t care about evidence or fingerprints.
Investigators also reviewed Facebook videos and written posts where Jenkins allegedly said things like, “I ain’t sorry at all. I’ll do it again,” and described how she tried to stab the woman in the eye and forehead.
In one of the most alarming statements, Jenkins reportedly said, “I should’ve finished her off. I should’ve put a bullet in that ho mouth.” She also talked about stabbing the woman in the head and imagining the knife coming out the back of her skull.
Former Friends Turned Enemies
According to the police complaint, Jenkins and the victim were once friends. They had met on social media in 2023, but their friendship ended after an argument during a Valentine’s Day party in 2024.
It’s still unclear what exactly caused the fight to escalate so badly. However, investigators believe the attack was planned, as the women agreed to meet and fight. Jenkins even admitted in her posts that she had intended to stab the victim.
Criminal Charges and Past Record
Shakia Jenkins has now been charged with attempted first-degree murder. She is being held in jail without bond. Records show that she has a criminal history, including past convictions for grand theft in Florida and fraud in Texas.
The victim survived the attack and is recovering from her injuries.
