Authorities are searching for three men accused of burglarizing a jewelry repair store inside the HEB on South Gulf Freeway in League City, Texas. The incident occurred on Monday, just after 5 p.m., when the suspects entered the store wearing hoodies, facemasks, and surgical gloves.
The Burglary
The three men immediately made their way to the jewelry repair and sales shop located inside the HEB. According to the League City Police Department, one of the suspects used pepper spray on an employee, while the others broke open display cases and stole jewelry and watches.
In a quick, coordinated move, the burglars managed to take the items and flee the scene in an SUV waiting outside.
Police reports indicate that the entire crime was completed in less than five minutes. By the time authorities arrived at the scene, the suspects had already escaped.
Ongoing Search
As of Tuesday afternoon, all three suspects remain at large. The League City Police Department released surveillance footage showing images of the suspects in hopes of gathering more leads.
