An incident in Paragould, Arkansas, has led to the arrest of a local high school science teacher, 43-year-old Stephanie Woods, after she was accused of domestic violence against her boyfriend.
The incident unfolded early on Monday morning when police responded to a call about an escalating argument between Woods and her 37-year-old boyfriend.

According to the incident report obtained by local news station KAIT, the argument between the couple began because Woods had been discussing “other men” during their conversation.

Paragould Police Officer Keaton Massey, who responded to the call, shared in the incident report that Woods had picked up an earring during the argument and used it to stab her boyfriend.
The report mentions that the earring stud broke off and got stuck in his neck, just below the ear. Despite the injury, the boyfriend refused medical treatment.
