A Virginia woman, 32-year-old Ashlynn Blair, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting and killing her ex-boyfriend. Blair called 911 on Friday afternoon, saying she believed she had shot her ex-boyfriend, and then met authorities at a grocery store parking lot.
The 911 Call and Arrest
On Friday, Blair contacted 911 around 12:40 p.m. and informed the dispatcher that she “thinks” she had shot her 31-year-old ex-boyfriend at his home. She wasn’t completely sure of the situation, but claimed that she had killed him. After placing the call, she told the dispatcher where she was waiting for law enforcement to arrive.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Giant grocery store parking lot, where Blair was waiting. Upon their arrival, they found that she had a firearm with her and took her into custody without incident.
