A 36-year-old Texas man, Corey Dellinger, is facing charges of stalking and making terroristic threats after a series of alarming public outbursts and menacing comments.
Dellinger allegedly threatened to harm multiple individuals, including a chilling incident where he threatened to stab a man in front of his wife and children at a park picnic table.
The Alarming Threats
Dellinger, who was recently released from a mental health facility, allegedly posted violent threats online and made disturbing verbal threats towards strangers and a family member, whom he accused of “sleeping with his wife.”
According to Lubbock police, these threats were not limited to social media posts but also occurred in public over the past few months.
The disturbing incident at the park picnic table happened on July 9, 2025. Police reports indicate that Dellinger approached a family seated at the table, asked questions about their children, and then became agitated when the father offered a handshake.
Dellinger allegedly interpreted the handshake as a threat and responded by claiming he was going to retrieve a gun to kill the father before walking away.

In addition to the park threat, Dellinger was involved in other alarming incidents. One involved approaching a stranger and claiming to be with “Anonymous,” a group that the stranger mistakenly assumed was a YouTuber.
Dellinger then allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened to “get her.” In another disturbing act, Dellinger was spotted on a local dam in Lubbock, shouting threats at passersby.
