Madera County authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with several recent burglaries. Tyler Joseph Norris, 28, is wanted on felony warrants for burglary and grand theft.
Details of the Crime
According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, Norris is the primary suspect in a series of thefts at a home located along Highway 145. On July 7, 2025, Norris was reportedly confronted by a security guard at the scene of one of the thefts.
He quickly fled the area in a black Chevrolet Silverado. The vehicle, with California license plate number 33404X1, is said to be connected to Norris.
Suspect and Possible Accomplice
In addition to Norris, authorities believe that 40-year-old Teresa Marie Torres may be traveling with him. Torres has an active misdemeanor warrant in Madera County. The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward.
