The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) will be hosting a series of eight public meetings starting July 15 to discuss the Regional Transportation Plan 2050. These meetings are part of the council’s effort to gather community input on transportation needs and future investments that will impact the Houston region until 2050.
What is the Regional Transportation Plan 2050?
The Regional Transportation Plan outlines future investments in various areas of transportation, including roads, public transit, biking and walking infrastructure, freight systems, and emerging transportation technologies.
It aims to address transportation trends and challenges across different counties in the Houston-Galveston area.
