A tragic shooting in Galveston early Wednesday morning led to the death of one person and left two others injured. Authorities have arrested 25-year-old Johnathan Lee from Galveston in connection with the incident. Lee faces charges of murder and aggravated assault, according to police.

The shooting took place in the 2400 block of Avenue E, where 31-year-old Armando Ventura from La Marque was found inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Ventura was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition to Ventura, two other men were injured in the shooting. A 29-year-old man, who was found a short distance away near the intersection of 25th Street and Avenue G, was also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities reported that he was hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to recover fully.
A third victim, a 25-year-old man, was found in the same block as the shooting and was hospitalized with non-gunshot-related injuries.
