The Tragic Incident
On May 13, 2023, Madison Johnson, 21, was in the middle of a FaceTime call with her mother when she informed her mother that her boyfriend, Jair Martin, was becoming aggressive. Martin had barricaded the door, preventing her from leaving their home. During the call, Madison’s mother saw that Martin was holding a gun and immediately called 911.
The call captured a chilling exchange, with Martin threatening Madison’s life.
