The McKinney Texas Fire Department reported Monday night that First Responders saved four lives after vehicles were swept away by flash flood waters.
Collin County in northeast Texas was under a tornado warning from around 9 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, April 4 as circulating winds ran from Aubrey into Celina, Prosper, Weston, Anna, Melissa and through Blue Ridge and Westminster Texas.
Thunderstorms continued until around 10:30 p.m. and flooding occurred from Plano into McKinney and across the area Monday night.
The area remained under tornado watch until 2 a.m. April 5.
