Reports coming in of a bobcat killing an outdoor cat, a coyote grabbing small dog and young copperheads popping up all over.
Be careful on your morning and evening walks.
The coyote tried to run off with smaller pet dog in Plano at Hoblitzelle Park where a Mom was walking with her dogs and child. A coyote attacked the little dog and grabbed it in its mouth. The little pet dog suffered a bite wound. The Mom and her other dog were able to drive off the coyote and recover the little dog.
As far as the snakes, one man has reported seeing five copperheads. He says you could easily step on one at night. Some are found near door to front and back of house.
