Texas-based Steak ‘n Shake restaurants announced that about 10 percent of its restaurants won’t reopen.
The COVID-19 slowdown of the economy is cited as major reason. Steak ‘n Shake, owned by Biglari Holdings in San Antonio, Texas, has been offering free french fries for all and discounts for “essential” workers.
