The Plano Food and Wine Festival will be at The District in The Shops at Willow Bend from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

What to know: “The event will feature more than 100 wines, food from 20+ delicious local restaurants, talented musicians, local artists, beer and cocktails, culinary demos from North Texas culinary experts, a play zone for kids and 100+ boutiques and shops.
“The festival is free and family friendly! Food + Wine Tasting passes start at $20. Taste your way through the festival and join us for a magical and delicious event.”
The event is presented by Maggiano’s Little Italy in Plano, west of the north-south tollway.
