Collin County Judge Chris Hill has appointed Tony Nichols to the Collin County LifePath Systems Board of Trustees for a term that expires on Dec. 31, 2020.
LifePath Systems provides critically needed assistance to the intellectually disabled, mental illness treatment, and early childhood intervention for developmentally delayed infants and their families.
The agency was created as the Collin County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center in 1986. The board of trustees provides oversight of LifePath Systems’ policies, operations, and finances; and is responsible for hiring the Chief Executive Officer.
Tony Nichols is a Partner with B2B CFO, a national firm which offers strategic financial leadership services on an affordable, as-needed basis to privately held businesses. He has enjoyed a long career in accounting and financial management with companies and non-profits in various industries, including healthcare, construction, restaurants and professional services.
Nichols grew up in Arlington, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Tony and his wife, Dr. Keila Nichols, live in Richardson, and have four children.
