Save the Monarch – Plant milkweed to help butterflies on their way from Canada to Mexico

Schools, churches, neighborhoods can boost Monarch populations by planting more nectar plants and milkweed for the butterflies.

Consider becoming your neighborhood’s community gardener who saves the butterfly. encourages saving and creating habitat in a time when city planners are pushing for big apartments and parking garages and more urban environments.

Ask your apartment if you can create a community garden and plant areas with milkweed that Monarch butterflies can use as rest areas when passing through Texas.

Support Farmers Markets. Save the bee and butterfly by planting small gardens.
