PCA offensive coordinator hired to coach Argyle Liberty Christian

Coach Steven Greek is the new head football coach at Argyle Liberty Christian.

Greek has been a leader as offensive coordinator at Prestonwood during four state TAPPS football championships.

Greek said: “The overall athletic program is very strong, and we simply want to come in, get to know the staff, build relationships with the kids and their families, and then commit wholeheartedly to being a part of something special. The people make Liberty Christian special. We’ve been ferocious competitors for all these years, and now as a family, we get to become Warriors.”

Greek said, “As a family, we also thank members of our Prestonwood family for their amazing love and support all of these years and in this transition. They have been extremely supportive, and we are eternally grateful.”

Barton Hundley coached Liberty to a 24-21 record in four seasons, including one trip to the playoffs.

“Liberty is a special place, and Coach Greek is a special individual – it’s a great fit,” said Headmaster Blair McCullough. “He has a strong reputation as a godly leader who brings out the best in his players, and I believe his plan for Liberty will impact our entire community.
