Eight reported dead after shooting in Plano TX, including suspect

Reports are coming in that eight have been shot in Plano in the 1700 block of West Spring Creek Parkway, a few blocks east of Custer Road between Blue Ridge and Green Oaks.

Police shot one man, a suspect is reported to have shot seven adults. Several are reported in hospital.

Plano State Rep. Jeff Leach: “We are monitoring the situation in Plano, where eight people have been shot and killed in a home.”

The media is reporting this as being in East Plano. That is not the case. This location is west of U.S. 75.

TRAFFIC UPDATE: Plano Police are reporting that West Spring Creek Parkway between Blue Ridge Trail and Green Oaks will be closed during Monday morning rush hour. Plano Police are investigating the deaths of eight people in a mass shooting that happened around 8 p.m. Sunday night.

This location is just east of Custer Road on your way toward U.S. 75.

This is in the Carpenter Middle School and Clark High School area if you are driving kids to Clark down Spring Creek on Monday.
