Penn State wrestler Bo Nickal wins national championship, 4-3, over Cornell’s Gabe Dean in the 184-pound category. Nickal is an Allen Eagle alum. He is majoring in kinesiology. His parents are Jason and Sandy Nickal.
Bo Nickal was one of the nation’s top high school wrestlers at Allen, and he brought three Texas state titles (and one runner-up) with him to Happy Valley. Nickal led Allen High School to four straight dual meet titles and four straight state team championships. He finished his high school career with a 183-7 record, including 131 pins.
