Frisco TX Special Election Feb. 18 for City Council Place 1 seat

The Frisco City Council has called a Special Election to fill a vacancy. The election will take place on February 18, 2017. This election will fill City Council Place 1 with a term expiration of May 2018.

The last day to register to vote for the Feb. 18, 2017 Special Election is Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017. For additional information on how to register to vote please click here.

First Response Photography: Fire in Weston TX destroys home


FIRST RESPONSE PHOTOGRAPHY was on scene during residential structure fire on CR 173 near Weston, Texas, on Thursday night.

First Response Photography reports mutual Aid from Gunter, Anna and Celina assisted Weston Fire Department.


Celina TX was first on scene with heavy fire showing from a two-car garage attached to a two-story wood frame house. Gusty winds spread the fire within minutes. The home is a total loss. No reports of injuries.

Weather: Temperatures were in the mid-20s Thursday night as First Responders battled the fire.
