McKinney will host the annual Trout Fishing Derby from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the East Pavilion at Towne Lake, 1405 Wilson Creek Parkway at U.S. 75.
Prizes will be awarded for the longest cast, heaviest stringer, biggest fish and smallest fish. There will be free hot dogs and drinks. All participants must provide their own pole and bait.
Adults must also have a fresh water fishing license.
