Is tea party done or just beginning? Ask Wayne Richard, host of a fast-growing radio show

Wayne Richard

What’s the agenda behind federally-funded bike trails?

North Texas grassroots conservative Wayne Richard says American values and the U.S. Constitution are under attack, and his message has been gaining a following nationwide on the radio.

The former candidate for state representative from Plano told the monthly gathering in Allen of the Lincoln Society of Collin County that the tea party message is alive and growing. Richard, a Republican strategist and businessman, cited the recent vote against Sen. Richard Lugar in Indiana as a sign that Americans are fed up with politicians that have lost touch with the people they serve.

“I really believe this is the biggest election in our lifetime,” Richard, owner of Liberty Radio and Broadcasting, LLC, said. “The tea party showed that it has legs by beating Senator Lugar in the primary. Average Americans who never were involved with politics are starting to get involved. We know we can’t afford not to win this election in November.

“What the liberals are doing with the courts, health care, the military, the economy and in our cities through Agenda 21 will devastate this country,” Richard said.
“You can’t allow them to silence your voice. You can’t allow the left to intimidate you with political correctness.”

The Wayne Richard Show comes on at 2 p.m. Saturdays on KXFR 1190 AM in North Texas and has quickly gained listeners in almost 40 states. It is also being heard in more than a dozen countries via the Internet at http://www.standwithwayne.com.

Richard also serves as president of ICglobal.net, a self-funded corporation involved with “conceptualizing and launching advanced Internet-based technology solutions.”

HIS SHOW

SOUNDING AN ALARM

“This election is important if this country is going to maintain its Judeo-Christian principles,” Richard said. “I did not grow up seeing conspiracies and commies behind every bush. But, I am concerned about what I am seeing now with political correctness. Don’t allow them to make it sound like conspiracy stuff.
SHOW ARCHIVES
“We are becoming a surveillance society, and we should all be concerned about that. Most of us don’t know this, but there is a plan to have a drone in the sky for every 10 square miles. Google has placed a GPS marker on every house in America. Google is in bed with this administration. This could be the beginning of tyranny in America. But, Americans are catching on and voting. The tea party is growing legs even if the media refuses to cover it. We are the difference.”

Richard said local governments can start by firing lobbyists.

“We do not need lobbyists for Collin County,” Richard said. “A lot of elected officials don’t like it when I say this, but excuse me, isn’t that what we elected them to do. Don’t run if you don’t want to do the job. They say, ‘Wayne, I also have a full-time job, and I don’t have time to drive down to Austin. We need a lobbyist in Austin that does that full time.’ Excuse me, but if we say our voices are not being heard in Austin and in Washington, why would we want to hire another lobbyist. Our elected officials are not running the government, lobbyists are running it.
“The younger generation is oblivious to what is happening in this country,” Richard said. “They are being brainwashed by the media and in schools and universities. We have to find a way to wake them up. That’s one reason why I am doing this radio show. I felt like at this time I was being called to do this radio show.”

Richard said his wife says having a radio show keeps her husband from getting worked up and having a heart attack.

“We can’t let the liberals and the media win,” he said. “We have to step forward. Be bold with strength.”

BATTLE FOR IDEAS

His message on the radio is not without opposition.

“You should see some of the emails and the hate they have because they disagree and have an agenda,” Richard said. “They are at war with our Judeo-Christian beliefs and at war with our Constitution. They believe that I am the enemy. They are motivated, and they have the money to do it. What I have learned is that when you start to get discouraged, we have to look at the wins we have had.

He said. “When I ran for office, God did not tell me he wanted me to win. He just told me he wanted me to run. God wanted to thicken my skin. I’m happy with where I am now. We have a conservative in the seat in the House of Representatives in Austin, and I’m reaching more people on the radio than I could with one single seat. I feel like I was called to have this radio show.”

Election 2012: Voting for city and school elections is Saturday, May 12 in Collin County. Early voting in the Texas primary starts Monday, May 14 and runs through May 25. Election day is May 29.

“We have to get everyone out to vote this time and in November,” he said. “We have to make a change in November, or we won’t have a chance to do it. This is all about voting. We know they will cheat. We know they will try to throw out our votes. We have a short window. If we are not careful, we will soon be France. If we lose freedom in America, there is no place to go.”

SLIPPERY SLOPE

Richard said even innocent looking programs can be a problem in disquise. He cited the recent creation of bike trails in Plano as an example.

“Why are the all the sudden doing that?” Richard asked. “Because it is part of a federal grant program. It is happening throughout Collin County now.”

Richard said bike trails are just one way “the Left” is slipping the United Nations’ Agenda 21 through the front door. To challenge his point, we did some quick research. Are cities really doing this across United States? We found a story on pilot programs: http://www.startribune.com/local/minneapolis/150105625.html

Views of federal funding advocates for trails: http://www.americantrails.org/resources/fedfund/index.html

Richards’ view: “The federal government is giving grants to implement Agenda 21 planks into local cities is part of this. This is a way to implement four or five of the main planks of the Communist Manifesto into local cities.”

Texas trailshttp://www.americantrails.org/resources/statetrails/TXstate.html

He said everyone should decide for themselves, and beware of sustainable and green programs. (Decide for yourself: Agenda 21 link http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/susdevtopics/sdt_index.shtml

Richard said the agenda calls for taking away the right to own property, denying people access to federal lands (beaches, parks, water ways) and moving people into the cities.

“It is called ‘stack and pack,’ ” Richard said.

“I am a true Constitutionalist,” Richard said. “I believe that the U.S. Constitution unequivocally defines the fundamental principles by which we govern. It establishes the duties, structure, procedures and powers of our government. Our Constitution clearly defines the responsibilities of the federal government and guarantees a preponderance of rights to the people and the states.
“As a Constitutionalist, I adhere to the belief that the essential qualities of the U.S. Constitution are its sense of ‘supremacy and permanence’ as stated by Alexander Hamilton, ‘that the courts have neither force nor will, but merely judgment.’

Richard is against same-sex marriage.
“I stand for parental rights usurping governmental regulations, and I stand for marriage as the legal union between a man and woman,” Richard said.

ON EDUCATION
http://youtu.be/cIM-AX3EVW4

Richard said, “America spends more money on education per student than any other country in the world, yet our students continue to test lower than other countries. This trend must be reversed or we will find our future American workforce competing as a third world country.
“It is my opinion any family that sends their children to private school or home schools their children should receive a tax credit on their property tax,” he said. “It is unfair and inappropriate to tax at the same rate when educational services are not performed by the public school system.”

ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
http://youtu.be/MLXhAATYj1s

“I stand for controlling our Texas borders and ensuring that only legal entities and individuals enter our state,” Richard said. “We must protect and defend our country’s borders.

“I stand for requiring proof of state or federal identification for anyone who wants to vote for an elected official,” Richard said. “I believe that a country with borders undefined and unprotected will not survive as a nation for long. I recognize and I am proud that our country has a rich heritage of immigrants traveling here to seek opportunity to play a part in the American dream. As a nation, we should always open our arms to those who desire to become productive citizens and who wish to assimilate into the American culture. We welcome those willing to put forth the efforts to become citizens through the legal channels and abide by our state and federal laws.”

ON MIKE HUCKABEE SHOW
http://youtu.be/uojmwhkybhA

“I stand for lowering and eliminating burdensome taxes,” Richard said. “By lowering taxes, individuals and corporate dollars are available to reinvest in business expansion, new technology and imperative research and development efforts. This limited tax philosophy creates new jobs and new companies and economic stability, thereby insuring and ultimately increasing revenues for the state.

“I believe that individuals and business owners know best how to budget and spend their money better than any state or federal government bureaucrat,” he said.
